Have you volunteered with Better Angels for at least ONE service event or project? 

If so, JOIN US for our first volunteer mixer.  

Why this matters:

As an organization, Better Angels is committed to creating and growing a county-wide movement that activates all of our collective energy toward ending the heart-breaking crisis of our time.  We are doing this together, by partnering with local service organizations, non-profits, government, technology partners, volunteer organizations, and faith-based groups. 

• Meeting other volunteers to share your experience and stories will support your motivation and encourage other volunteers. 
• Learning more about current initiatives can spark ideas for how you can use your skills and resources to help more neighbors.   
• Sharing your ideas for future partnerships, events, projects, tasks and improvements with Better Angels will support future effective work. 

What we will do: 

• Sign in and get a name tag
• Hear short presentations about our prevention, services, technology, shelter, housing, and education projects.   
• Talk with other awesome volunteers 
• Ask questions about our mission, initiatives, and goals.
• Share your ideas
• Sign up for interesting opportunities

Logistics: 

This location is easily accessible via public transportation - bus (Washington/National or Venice/National) or light rail (Culver City stop on E line), and car (Platform parking garage - closest, with a ChargePoint charger, or cheaper at 9099 Washington Blvd Culver City, CA 90232)

The restaurant is located inside the "Platform" development, so once you find the address, walk into the central shopping area.  Walk through the small front area, to join us in the back patio area.

If you can't attend this mixer, watch for opportunities to join mixers in future months, in different areas.
