Do you enjoy serving with other positive neighbors? 

If so, join us as we prepare, cook, and then deliver a holiday feast!

What we'll be doing:

We are partnering with our friends at Peace Love Positivity (PLP Nation) and Housing MV to cook and serve a full holiday feast.  This includes collecting food or monetary donations, shopping for ingredients, cooking food, packaging meals and distributing meals and other needed items to our unhoused neighbors.  

Why this matters:

Showing our care to neighbors who are experiencing homelessness facilitates human connection and enforces worth and dignity for each person. 

Volunteer Opportunity by Shift: 

Wednesday 12/20  

Preparation: 12 noon - 6 pm

Thursday 12/21

Cook food and prepare meals:

9 am -11am 6 volunteers
11 am - 1 pm 10 volunteers 

Distribute meals: 

1 pm - 3 pm
4 teams of 3 volunteers. (Because some of the encampments are close to our kitchen site, teams can make a couple of trips) 

Clean up:
3 pm - 5 pm
