We are partnering with the community at Westside Thanksgiving to support the holiday event they have been hosting since 1982! This is a wonderful activity for friends or multi-generational family groups.
For over four decades, Westside Thanksgiving has put on a free Thanksgiving Day community celebration! We provide a wonderful sit-down Thanksgiving dinner, a huge selection of clothing to choose from, a “Mercado” (store) where you can shop for perishable and non-perishable items, live music, and companionship – ALL FOR FREE!
Together: We will work together with a diverse group of volunteers to sort and organize donated clothes in preparation for the Thanksgiving celebration.
When: Wednesday, Nov 22nd,2023
What you can expect: Working with others in a group. You may be asked to organize, clean, or lift items up to 25 lbs.

- 6 pm - 8 pm Clothing / Mercado (store) set up is outside near the Bandshell of the West LA Civic Center
Clothing: Wear clothes toes shoes. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty in or your Better Angels T-shirt.
PLEASE NOTE: All children under 18 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Groups: We encourage groups of all sizes to join us! Please feel free to invite your friends, family, church groups, etc.
