WHY It Matters?
Connect Day is designed to bring together trusted community-based organizations to connect residents with essential services, programs, and support resources in one welcoming, accessible location. The event will be attended by community members from Pasadena and neighboring SPA 3 areas seeking updated information, referrals, and direct assistance.
Salvation Army in Pasadena are inviting organizations offering services and programs such as (but not limited to):
- Housing and housing retention
- Healthcare and mental health services
- Food access and basic needs
- Employment, workforce development, and education
- Legal aid and benefits assistance
- Reentry Services and facilities
- Youth, family, and senior services
- Housing construction and renovation
What You'll Do:
As a volunteer, you will be supporting in various areas depending on what time you sign up for. Here are a list of assignments you may be assigned to:
- Set up ( tables, chairs, serving areas)
- Welcome table
- Giveaway table
- Activity table
- Serving food/ drinks
- Organizing materials
- Maintaining a clean space
- Guest event navigation
- Loading/ unloading
- Teardown/ clean up
