Do you enjoy working with positive people?
Are you ready to make a difference in the Lancaster area, serving our unhoused & underserved neighbors?
Together, We'll provide a warm delicious BBQ meal, contribute to community activities, and provide resources to our unhoused neighbors by partnering with City of Lancaster, local service vendors, and our co-host, The People Concern. Your presence and volunteering will help create a welcoming, supportive, and safer environment for our community.
Why this project matters: Our unhoused neighbors will get some urgent needs met, which everyone deserves. And - all can connect with local benefits, resources, and services and enjoy the community!
Lancaster City in partnership with The People Concern, are working on an event to serve the community in need. At this quaterly event, the city team invite additional service providers to bring resources for their guests to access at this location as they expand services and operations. When we work with fellow volunteers to meet the urgent needs of people living outside, our entire community benefits.
