Do you have a passion for photography or videography and a heart for storytelling? Better Angels is partnering with Food on Foot to find creative volunteers who want to use their lens to make a real difference.
When?
Every Sunday in Hollywood, Food on Foot serves over 250 unhoused and low-income individuals — not just with meals, but with dignity, hope, and human connection. Now we need talented storytellers like you to help bring that mission to life through powerful visuals.
What are we looking for?
Capturing the heart of Food on Foot’s work is about more than snapping photos. It’s about sharing the resilience, joy, and transformation happening every week at our Sunday serving events. From the warm meals and donated clothing to the smiles and gratitude of the community, your camera can help tell stories that inspire others to get involved, whether as volunteers, supporters, or donors.
We’re looking for photographers and videographers who are eager to show up on Sunday mornings and document the beauty in service. You’ll be welcomed into a kind, passionate, and purpose-driven community that believes in showing up for others. Whether you’re experienced or just love capturing meaningful moments, your creative eye will help amplify our mission in ways words never could.
Why does this project matter?:
This is a perfect opportunity to build your portfolio while using your art to create change. Your work will be used to spread awareness, strengthen outreach, and grow a movement of compassion and community in Los Angeles. You'll be telling stories that matter — and you'll leave each Sunday inspired by the people you’ve met and the impact you’ve helped create.
If you believe in the power of storytelling and want to use your skills to shine a light on the good happening in our city, we’d love to have you join us. Come be a part of something beautiful, behind the lens!
