As a Tech Partnerships Manager, you’ll help us grow our network of collaborators by building and nurturing relationships with tech companies, coding bootcamps, universities, and community organizations. Whether it’s securing mentors, tech tools, or sponsorships, your outreach will directly fuel programs that change lives and open doors for underrepresented communities in the tech industry.
Role Overview
As the Volunteer Tech Partnerships Manager, you’ll lead partnership outreach, manage key relationships, and support the execution of joint initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with our tech and mentorship teams to identify needs and build partnerships that match our values and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Research: Identify and connect with potential tech partners, including companies, schools, and networks

Communications: Collaborate on outreach materials, pitch decks, and email proposals, making recommendations and refinements with the team.

Relationship Management: Maintain contact with partners and support collaboration opportunities

Tracking Impact: Help coordinate and report on joint initiatives, workshops, and partnerships
Helpful Qualifications

Experience in partnerships, outreach, or business development

Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills

Familiarity with the tech industry and education/career pipelines

Passionate about equity, opportunity, and collaboration

Better Angels is a nonprofit organization committed to curing homelessness through compassion, connection, and action. Our workforce access and mentorship programs are strengthened by our partnerships with like-minded organizations that share our belief in opportunity for all.
Time Commitment
Approximately 3-5 hours per month. Flexible and remote. We ask for a minimum 3-month commitment and willingness to hand off to another volunteer before you leave this role.
