Are you ready to make a difference in Central Los Angeles, serving our underserved communities?
Together, We are providing a warm meal and resources to our unhoused neighbors by partnering with a long-standing local service organization, Pico Union Project. Your presence and volunteering will help create a welcoming, supportive, and safer environment for our community. This event happens every third Wednesday; read the story of a recent event here >
Why this project matters: Our unhoused neighbors will get some urgent needs met, which everyone deserves. Pico Union Project regularly provides nutritional grocery items, and local services ( Metro Tap cards, health care services, diapers, clothing regularly to the vibrant Pico-Union community. At this resource day event, we invite local service vendors for their guests to access, set up showers, and use some of the grocery items to provide a freshly cooked meal.
When we work with fellow volunteers to meet the urgent needs of people living outside, our entire community benefits.
